ADOLF WEBER has a successful corporate history spanning more than 100 years to look back on.
1923
Adolf Heinrich Wilhelm Weber establishes the company ADOLF WEBER in Wandsbek with the construction of buildings as its core business activity.
1940
The son of the founder, Adolf Heinrich Karl Weber, takes over the company in the 1940s, having completed an apprenticeship in his father’s business and subsequently obtained a degree in engineering. He turns the firm into a building contractor whose name is known all over northern Germany.
1961
Following the premature death of Adolf Heinrich Karl Weber, his wife Erika Weber carries on the business as the first female owner of a building company in Hamburg. Extremely successful in the building trade, she places the company’s focus on residential construction.
1970
Adolf Huckfeldt-Weber takes over the family business at the start of the 1970s. Under his management the company moves into new segments of the property business, such as project development for commercial properties and premium apartments for sale. Professional property management is another business line he expands.
1990
New business lines are added, such as project development of sites for the automotive industry and retail companies.
German reunification brings additional work for the company in the form of the development of numerous retail, service and office properties in the former East Germany in the later 1990s.
1993
Moving into project development for petrol stations marks the start of the ADOLF WEBER GROUP’s successful cooperation with oil companies.
2000
The turn of the century brings the fourth generation of the family into the company: Marcus-C. Huckfeldt-Weber joins his father in the business and now leads the ADOLF WEBER GROUP into the future in its current form as a project development, investment and property management company for commercial and residential properties.
2009
The ADOLF WEBER GROUP moves into new regions to the south with project development for commercial properties now also encompassing the German states of North Rhine-Westphalia and Lower Saxony.
2011
The ADOLF WEBER REAL ESTATE company realises its first projects in Düsseldorf.
2014
The realisation of premium rental apartments forms another area of focus for the ADOLF WEBER GROUP in its project development activities. The company completes numerous residential construction projects in Hamburg.
2017
The ADOLF WEBER GROUP opens its Dortmund branch. With the responsible managing director Jochen Boudon, the projects in NRW are now managed locally and the real estate is managed directly.
2019
In addition to other asset classes, ADOLF WEBER Projektentwicklung increases the focus of its activities on light industrial real estate.
2020
With the ASTOR GEWERBEPARK, ADOLF WEBER establishes its own brand for the company’s business parks and light industrial properties.
2020
Managing partner Marcus-C. Huckfeldt-Weber establishes the HUCKFELDT-WEBER KINDERSTIFTUNG as a charitable trust under the auspices of the UKE-Stiftung with the object of strengthening the company's commitment to society and in particular of supporting pediatric medicine at the Hamburg-Eppendorf University Clinic (UKE).
2022
The southern German branch of ADOLF WEBER opens in Munich. From now on, all projects in Bavaria and Baden-Württemberg will be managed directly from Munich by the responsible managing director, Alexander Goebel.
2023
ADOLF WEBER is expanding in Austria. In the new Vienna branch, Managing Director Henning Nietz and Branch Manager Julian Forster manage all project developments in Vienna and the surrounding area. The focus here is on the development of sustainable, flexible commercial properties.
2025
In spring 2025, ADOLF WEBER opened a new branch office in Zurich. With this significant step, the company is expanding its project development activities into the German-speaking Swiss market.
Zurich, as a key economic hub in Europe, offers ideal conditions for the sustainable expansion of the property portfolio and the establishment of long-term partnerships on site. Through this expansion, the company is further strengthening its presence in the DACH region.
2025
Founding of SQUARE PARKS
SQUARE PARKS GmbH is founded as a sister company to ADOLF WEBER Grundbesitz und Projektgesellschaft. SQUARE PARKS GmbH specialises in the development, construction and management of modern, purpose-built business and trade parks. Institutional investors, in particular, are given the opportunity to participate in project planning at an early stage and to share in the success of the respective development and potential portfolio expansion. With the establishment of SQUARE PARKS GmbH, ADOLF WEBER is expanding its business model and laying the foundations for further growth in the light industrial sector.
2026
Acquisition of a majority stake in NEVO
With the acquisition of shares in NEVO Investment Management GmbH, an investment manager specialising in light industrial property, ADOLF WEBER is expanding its product range. Through NEVO, ADOLF WEBER also acts as an investment manager, enabling it to specifically target and serve institutional investors. Together with NEVO and its sister company SQUARE PARKS, an integrated 360° platform for light industrial property is created, enabling ADOLF WEBER to cover the entire property lifecycle – from project development through to investment and asset management, as well as letting. Through this partnership, the ADOLF WEBER Group is strengthening its market position in this asset class and unlocking synergies, significant growth potential and new market opportunities across the entire DACH region.
